Any hour

Where to turn

  • Calls to Gambling: Help and Referral are answered 24/7: 1-800-461-0140 from anywhere in Québec, 514-527-0140 in the Montréal area. Calls are free, confidential and bilingual.
  • Québec residents can also chat with Gambling: Help and Referral at aidejeu.ca.
  • The Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission runs self-exclusion, a request to be kept out of venues, for all its licensed land-based venues. The form goes to venue management or the KGC with a photo and two government IDs.

Before you go

Set a limit first

Decide on a time limit and a money limit before leaving home. Bring only the money set aside for the visit. Plan the ride home before the first hand, and settle who drives or which bus to catch. When either limit is reached, the visit ends. People must be 18 to gamble in Québec, and the KGC's land-based regulations protect anyone under 18.

About this guide

Pages on this site are written and signed together by the Kahnawake Guide team, with no personal byline and no named author. Seven pictures appear on the site, all computer-generated and photo-like, and they show no people. Four have real photographs of Playground as their source, each with an angle, an hour and a light of its own. They show the poker room from above, the building from a parking-lot corner at dusk, slot machines and the PLAYGROUND sign over the entrance. Three others show no particular place: a truss bridge at dusk, the empty front-page poker room and a pasta and pizza table.

Facts were checked on October 14, 2026. Québec government sources, Gambling: Help and Referral, the restaurants' own sites, the Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission and the venue's pages served as sources. Each distance is a direct line joining two sets of OpenStreetMap coordinates, so roads are longer.

Nothing here asks you to type into a form, post a comment or register. Visits are counted without leaving any cookie behind. Each page view is logged by a separate counting tool, which learns your network address and browser make. One setting is remembered: the colour theme a reader selects, kept in that browser tab.
